Class Fees/Refunds

CLASS FEES

Fees for ESL and High School Diploma/GED can be paid by debit card, credit card or cash only. We accept Visa, Mastercard and Discover. For Mastick and Community Education Classes you may pay with a check.  Make checks payable to Alameda Adult School. There is a $15 fee (cash or money order only) for all returned checks.
 


REFUND/CLASS CANCELLATION POLICY

Once a student has been registered, refunds are only issued if a class is cancelled or changed or the instructor determines the student cannot benefit from the class.

Classes with low enrollment may be cancelled. If a class is cancelled the school will return fees to students. Refunds will be administered by a check and will arrive in 10-15 business days of the request. Same day transactions will be returned in the form of the original payment. Students who register online and request a refund will have their account credited within 48 hours.

 

ATTENDANCE AND DROP POLICY

If a student does not attend class for two consecutive weeks without giving the office prior written notice they may be dropped from the class. Dropped students will have to pay a new registration fee if they wish to re-register.
